Finally got the time to listen to Inter Arbiter by Inlets.
Inlets is fronted by Sebastian Krueger and is a one man artist from Brooklyn.
I was lucky enough to catch a set during NXNE and happened to see someone well known and is friends with the Sebastian Kruger.
Inlets should be one of those Brooklyn musicians that should have taken off like Dirty Projectors, Grizzly Bear, The Drums and the Antlers.
Angel Deradoorian of the Dirty Projectors is a guest on the album which she does backing vocals on Sunfed Shapes.
Listening to the whole album, I really like the indie experimental lo-fi baroque folk-pop style.
Pretty unique lyrics and it has that Brooklyn sound.
Sebastian’s vocals reminds me of Thom Yorke.
It felt like listening to a acoustic Radiohead mixed in with Beirut (Zach Condon helped out on the album).
For those that like Lo-Fi folk pop records this is one album to get.
