It was the final night of Experimental Music Wednesday at Pressed.

Hosted by Adam Saikaley.
In it’s second season, the event just ran from October 3rd to November 14th.
Playing on the final night was:
Jesse Stewart
Rolf Klausener
• Lidija Rozitis

Lidija Rozitis was the resident DJ for Experimental Music Wednesdays.
She played alot of great music from Steve Wonder, Kate Bush to Father John Misty which was played at different speed.

Rolf Klausener of The Acorn played a unique solo set.
The music was a improvisation piece for surrounded voice/text/treated guitar, based on text messages (About 300 to be exact) that he sent in 2011.
Like the electronic beats that he played.
Made me want to dance to the music.

Last was Jesse Stewart.
I didn’t know who he was until I checked his website.
He is a composer, artist and a educator.
Wasn’t aware that he won a Juno Award this year for “Instrumental Album of the Year”.
You can say his set was like assembling a drum set.
Very cool and unique to see.

This was a perfect way to end Season 2 of the series.
