LAKE, Salmon Ella and Still Life & Street @ The Rainbow Bistro

A midweek gem lit up the Rainbow Bistro on Wednesday night as Ottawa welcomed the charming sounds of LAKE, joined by local acts Salmon Ella and Still Life & Street.
The night offered a cozy, homespun atmosphere that matched the quirky, heartfelt energy LAKE has come to be known for.

Currently touring in support of their latest album Bucolic Gone, the Pacific Northwest and Los Angeles-based indie pop band made Ottawa their ninth stop on the aptly titled Bucolic Gone Tour.
The set leaned heavily into that album’s breezy, pastoral textures, but also reached back to fan favorites from their 2020 release Roundelay.
A standout moment came when the band performed “No Wonder I,” a tender, whimsical track many in the crowd recognized from its feature on Adventure Time.
It was a nostalgic surprise that drew warm cheers and smiles all around.

Ottawa’s own Salmon Ella brought their quirky charm to the stage plus they did a cool cover of Mazzy Star’s Fade Into You.
Still Life & Street opened with a tight set full of raw energy and offbeat hooks—setting the tone perfectly for the night ahead.
