Raymond Biesinger (The Famines) Black & White Illustrations @ Wurm Gallery [November 23, 2012]

City of Ottawa 7 May 1945. Screen-print by Raymond Biesinger.

For those familiar with the music of The Famines.
You may not be aware that lead singer/guitarist Raymond Biesinger is a illustrator.
Raymond’s works has been featured on various publications like Billboard, Broken Pencil, the Economist, the Globe & Mail, the New York Times, Quill & Quire, SPIN, Walrus, and WIRED.
Invisible Cinema/Wurm Gallery was proud to exhibit his works.
This exhibit runs from November 23 – December 19, 2012.

I bought the book and I really enjoy the collections that he put from 2002 to now.
My favorite was the map of the four cities he did. They are Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City.
Raymond did a wonderful presentation on his illustrated works.
There was a small part in the presentation about The Famines, mostly on making the singles and album covers.
Enjoyed it being his first presentation in Ottawa.
