Second night in a row to be at Pressed.
No it wasn’t experimental music, more indie garage punk rock happening on October 18th.
Playing at the show were:
• The Famines
• The Yips
The Yips started off the set.
Having seen them play on October 13th.
They played a great indie pop rock set.
Swollen Eyes was up next.
This was my first time seeing them live.
I thought it would be a rowdy set which didn’t happen.
They played a great indie psych-garage rock set.
Lastly it was The Famines turn.
Hadn’t see them since live since 2010.
It was part of a re-release of their 14 July 2008 cassette on Bruised Tongue.
Wow it was pretty loud and rocking!
I totally enjoyed the set.
The audience definitely got into it after the third song.
I didn’t stay too long due but it was definitely crazy to say the least!
