I went to a nice Sunday show at Raw Sugar Cafe on November 20, 2011.
Playing at the show was:
JF Robitaille
CLementine
This is my fourth time this year seeing JF Robitaille play live.
The first set started off with Montreal’s CLementine.
It was a nice intimate set by Nathan Daniels.
Second was The Lynn & Jane Show.
They have a folk country sound to them, and use a wide range of instruments. They were very talented playing all of them.
Lastly, JF played a great solo performance; just him and his guitar.
He sang songs from the album Calendar, which was very personal to him.
Something kind of funny – during the first song, he had his coat on.
Overall, it an intimate show that made for a nice Sunday night.

How was JF? I saw him open for Jason Bajada back in 06 and really enjoyed his stuff… haven’t really followed him since then.

Great.
Just him and a guitar.
Low key and intimate.
