It was a nice Victoria Day weekend to have session #2 for the 4in1 Acoustic Sessions in a Park.
This time the park was at Dundonald Park.
Playing at second session were:
• Avid Napper

• Scary Bear Soundtrack

• Jenna Tenn-Yukk

• Fevers

• Eriksen

It was more like 5in1 this time.
But it was a nice day to have people out and enjoy the music.
Supposedly Del Bel and Lisa Bozikovic was suppose to play but had to run off to the venue and do their soundcheck.
But they did a video performance part, thanks to Partus Films who did the filming.
Video for the session should up be up by the end of the week or so.
The set started off with Avid Napper.
It was Gloria’s other side-project band with another musician named Charles.
They only did two songs.
More of an acoustic folk-pop music.

After them was Scary Bear Soundtrack.
They had a interesting setup with signs, a flower and a bear.
Did a acoustic pop session in their set.
They did sing Asian Fetishist.

Next was Jenna Tenn-Yukk.
I know it was a daring move for me to pick this artist who is brand new and doesn’t have a site yet.
She is well known in the Ottawa poetry community.
And trying her hands in music.
She started off with her poetry and it was great.
Then moved with the music. I had to say she is a great singer.
Loved that she did a cover of Whitney Houston.

I kind of put Jessica Ruano on the spot because Del Bel and Lisa Bozikovic left and was waiting for Fevers to show up.
So she did her magic with her poetry to the audience.
At least she can put “Time Killer” on her CV. 😛

Then Fevers show up.
They did a great acoustic session in the park.
Nice to see a band playing out in the broad daylight.
They did sing Passion Is Dead and cover of Radiohead’s Idioteque.

Lastly Eriksen showed up.
He played a nice acoustic session of his music.

Overall it was nice Victoria Day Sunday at the park!
The people who was there had a great time.
Don’t forget June 3rd at Victoria Island for Session #3.
Here are the rest of the photos.
