Wonderful Monday night show at St. Alban’s Church with Richard Reed Parry and Corwin Fox.
Formerly from Ottawa now living in Cumberland, British Columbia, Corwin Fox began the show with some Canadian roots folk music.
Lots of story telling about his life living in Ottawa and now in BC.
It was a nice intimate set and great banjo playing. 7/10.
Then it was Richard Reed Parry’s Quiet River of Dust.
This was quite a wonderful and mesmerizing set in a church.
It was like a dream-like atmospheric journey of walking into a magical forest filled with luscious and beautiful sound and music.
Richard is currently promoting Volume 1 of Quiet River of Dust which came out on September 21, 2018.
He also previewed a few tracks from Volume 2 which comes out on March 2019.
I was very surprised on this for a Monday night. 9/10.
