It was the last summer Thursday of 2012.
This being the perfect evening to go out to Bacon Fat Thursday at Mugshots (HI-Ottawa Jail Hostel).
Every last Thursday of the month, Bacon Fat will be showcasing bands in the amazing setting of the Ottawa Jail Hostel courtyard.

Male Nurse (SOLO)
Having seen him play the night before.
Male Nurse went solo and this time it was more mellow.
It was a nice set he put.
Probably with the drinks I had, I almost wanted to cry. 
Second band to play was Ottawa’s The Yips.
This was my first time seeing them live.
They were really good.
Had that retro-rock sound. Since their description says “Ouija rock” (Such thing as that?).
Was impressed with their set.
Lastly it was Roberta Bondar.
Of course they never disappoint live.
Like the effect with the smoke machine.
Can’t wait to see them again at Arboretum Festival on September 15th.
